2025 JSAP-Optica Joint Symposia Travel Award Application

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should be either full-time students or young researchers and must also be speakers in the JSAP-Optica Joint Symposia 2025 who are currently living outside of Japan.

Applicants must complete the submmission and conference registration (including the payment of registration fee) BEFORE applying. 

A travel award application will be accepted only if an abstract of the presentation is submitted.
The quality of the abstract will be one of the criteria to evaluate the application.

NOTES:
Travel Award will be given only when the speakers attend in-person.

Please understand that this award is NOT a full travel support. 
We will provide the accomodation for 5 nights (9/6 to 9/10)  and the support for the transportation costs.
The support amount will be decided based on the applicants' residing county.

We cannot accept withdrawal of abstract even if you are not selected for the award.

Awardees must register their attendance on all days of the conference.

Requirements
Failure to register your attendance on all days will result in return of support money.

Please note that the section 3.1-3.14 is NOT joint sessions with the Optica.
If you have submitted to the section 3.1-3.14, you cannot apply for this award.
Presentation Title
You cannot withdraw your paper even if you are not selected as travel awardees.
Even if you don't get a travel award, you still need to attend the meeting to present your research in-person or online.
Please make sure to read our no-show policy in advance.
